Hi Everyone,
For the last six weeks life has been rough, but that is not new! I have lived in Southern California for a little over ten years and in that ten years have gone through a lot of hardship! The positive end of that hardship is my three beautiful kids and the fact that I still have my health, my job, and a roof over my head! In the last six weeks I have been striving to complete my work amidst a custody battle relating to my twin sons that are 4 years old now! It is something I thought I would never have to deal with but here I am! I know this all will make me a stronger person and a stronger advocate for others but in the meantime it is probably one of the most difficult things I have had to deal with in my life. I have a mediation on monday and a court hearing on January 4th so wish me luck and Merry Christmas and happy new Year to all of you!

Time for Education!
If there was one thing about your academic challenges, what would it be?
I would have to say that my biggest academic challenges are getting all of the material covered! I have three kids and an un-supportive partner! I also have a father to my sons who is suing me and a lot of stressors that make it very hard to focus on my subjects but I push through with a goal in mind! I want to do something that matters and I cant let hardships stall me anymore! I have allowed so many things in my life to get in my way so this time this is it! I have to succeed and there is no option! I want this for me and my children and I want them to know that what matters most is helping others!

Plagiarism and the internet
Blog Question-Does the Internet blur the lines of “legally owned”? Consider sites like YouTube and Wikipedia.
I truly believe that the consideration and respect for others' work has gone out the window. The internet borrows and uses other people's ideas constantly and presents it as normal. YouTube takes people's creations and distorts them for entertainment value. Wikepedia borrows ideas and presents them as their own. Where do we draw the line between what is ok and what isn't? People tend to be more concerned with getting ahead than doing what is right! How do you claim rights to something that was presented as someone elses'? We are now in a world of selfishness and lawsuits!!?? It is so crazy! It is not the way I was raised and many people have begun to believe that plagiarism is alright but they don't realize that it is no different than stealing and it is hurtful to other people.
